Description: This video is from one of the best known video bootlegs from 1988. Filmed in Hamilton, Ontario, For Those About to Rock comes across loud and strong, with all of the power straight from the cannons themselves. The quality of this one isn't as good as I remember, but it provides a great, clear view of the stage and features Stevie Wright in Malcolm's place.

A song I never get bored of, with a great sound for an audio boot! Stevie does really well after a shaky start (intro not dead right and one or two chords mis-timed, but of course we forgive him for that!) Tone similar to Mal's not identical, as one might expect. Correct tempo from the drums and Angus - as usual from 1985-1988 bootlegs - plays some really fluid, bluesy runs - he was absolutely 'on it' in that era, technically at his best I think and still coming up with new note selections. Brian was pretty powerful here and it's a crime there's no '85-'88 vids on the new DVD. Thanks for another cool video! |

Precious! I am surprised Stievie Young's playing like Malcom. He looked almost same tall as Malcolm, and put similar T-shirt and pants. I can imagine some of the audiences didn't know that Malcom was not there..

Nice Bootleg. I give it a 7 out of 10.
But I think you made a misstake. It's Stevie Young replacing Malcolm, not Stevie Wright.
