Description: I don't think I've watched this show in at least 2 years, so it was a nice surprise coming back to it and seeing stuff I had forgotten about. The main part I had forgotten about is how Angus comes onto stage to start the show. While there is some obstruction on this one, you can see him come out above he drum kit, then come down the runway and jump down onto the stage. Not the best quality, but one of the few available from 1986.

Such a great song, and the live arrangement is cool with the different parts near the end. Interesting to hear this in 1986. Brian was just starting to lose that clarity and sustain in his voice around then; he got the clarity back around 95 with Ballbreaker, but the immense power had waned, understandably for a geezer of his age of course. He sounded incredible at Rio the year before. The guitar parts puzzle me; on record and early live renditions, Ang sounds like he has a different tuning so he can play that riff using open string pull-offs on each string required. On later bootlegs it sounds like a normal tuning and he's picking across strings - very difficult and doesn't sound the same. Hard to hear clearly here. I'd love to hear this track live again, I'm surprised they ever dropped it. Thanks for sharing! |

That vid kicked so much ass. Especially when the light shines on Ang at the top of the stage and the crowd goes crazy.
Thanks!! |
