Stage Locations Explanation
The angle(s) a bootleg is shot from is one of the most important things to know about that bootleg. It also is a major help to know the terminology. This page explains the different terms used when referencing camera angles on this website, as well as gives a few examples and images to explain it visually.

For the most part, the names of angles of the camera for this website were taken directly from the definitions listed on dictionary.com. Center Stage, Stage Left and Stage Right are all listed on that website; the remaining angles were named as appropriately as possible, to coordinate with the existing definitions. Please click on the thumbnail images below to view examples of each angle. This information is relevant to this site only, and is not intended to be used as a global reference. All information presented on this site is modelled after this image. Some angles may be listed incorrectly; these will be updated as soon as possible. This image will not correctly represent all arenas or stadiums; this is a generalization to allow for an easy reference tool.
